The Background
Over last few months the management of Nu-Wrestling Evolution (NWE) and International Pro Wrestling United Kingdom (IPW:UK) have held countless meetings with one goal in mind: to put together an event which showcases the very best European talent alongside American Superstars whom many fans will not have had the chance to see perform live before
This partnership really is a dream match as NWE will be bringing their years of experience in promoting major league events, with huge stars and spectacular production and combining this with IPW:UK’s knowledge of the UK scene and drive to deliver the best pro wrestling ever seen on these shores. Making Saturday 28th April a date that you don’t want to forget!
So mark the date down in your diaries as April 28th the Troxy will witness the beginning of a revolution, the 2012: REVOLUTION!
The Venue
The event will take place in the nation’s capital London at the marvellous Troxy, a prestigious venue that has played host to countless MMA & Boxing matches over the years.
Based in East London, this is the perfect setting for a wrestling show and one which IPW:UK has wanted to run for a long time now, but until now it hadn’t been possible. With NWE’s help it is and it will now play host to our biggest show to date 2012:REVOLUTION.
The Wrestlers
2012:Revolution will follow traits of both IPW:UK & NWE. In true IPW:UK fashion it will feature some of the most exciting performers in the world today as well as the cream of the crop of European wrestling talent and as is a feature with all major NWE shows 2012:REVOLUTION will feature some of the biggest names in the world of Pro Wrestling. Watch this space as we are currently negotiating with some of the top names in the business... remember this is the same promotion that brought The Ultimate Warrior out of retirement!

Carlos Colon – Known by wrestling fans worldwide as CARLITO, Carlon has held countless championships wherever he has gone and will be looking to prove just how ‘cool’ he really is!
Chris Mordetzky- Better known by wrestling fans as CHRIS MASTERS
Marty Scurll – One of the most exciting wrestlers in the whole of Europe, Scurll has been the breakout star of 2011 and will look to make 2012 his year
Super Nova – Mexican masked highflyer & NWE standout
Sha Samuels – East End brawler & The Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion
Davey Richards - The man called by many 'the best wrestler in the world'
The Card
We can confirm that the card will be put together by IPW:UK, an organisation who have a reputation for delivering the most exciting wrestling action seen anywhere on these shores, whilst NWE will be providing their expansive resources including production values that rival the biggest wrestling promotions in the world. We firmly believe that combined we will create the most exciting show seen on UK shores in many years.
BRITISH CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS TO TAKE PLACE AT REVOLUTION:
A new British Cruiserweight Champion will be crowned on Saturday April 28th at Revolution. It seems almost fitting that such an important championship will be decided on such a historic night.
The first finalist is Marty Scurll, winning Bracket A of the tournament defeating CZW star Jonathan Gresham and UK veteran ‘Xtreme’ Dean Allmark en route to the finals.
The second finalist will be determined on Sunday February 26th, Sittingbourne, Kent when four of the best Cruiserweights in the world will compete in a one night tournament at IPW No Escape: Road To Revolution.
Therefore the current card looks as follows:
