PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

  • IPW:UK Returns To Portsmouth THIS SATURDAY Night With The Return To The Ring of ‘The Righteous’ Paul Travell PLUS Simmonz vs. Head In The British National Championship!!

» Saturday March 8th IPW:UK return to the Buckland Community Centre for the next installation in the British National Championship, as current reigning and defending IPW:UK Champion Andy Boy Simmonz takes on Portsmouth’s #1 son, Dan Head!

The two, who fought around this time last year in a series of excellent and tightly fought matches, including Head getting a pinfall victory over Simmonz, and we’re sure that this bout will be no difference.

Plus in our featured attraction, former FWA mainstay and Portsmouth native ‘The Righteous’ Paul Travell returns to the ring for IPW:UK for the first time in a year as he looks to come back and teach the cocky new generation a real lesson in pain.

  • Full Card For Saturday’s Show Confirmed!

» In addition to the previously announced British National Championship Second Round match between Simmonz and Head, we will also see another 2nd round clash between two men somewhat on the same ‘page’ in their wrestling careers, in LT Summers and ‘The Star Attraction’ Mark Haskins.

Summers, one of the key players in The Hated Heroes, was trained by ‘The Specialist’ Mark Sloan at the former FWA Training Academy. Mark Haskins too was trained by the Specialist, and is the leader of The Thrillers – both men are still yet to show their true potential in IPW:UK, and while both have made big waves in their own ways, will be looking to advance in the British National Championship

» Making his IPW:UK debut this Saturday is another from the training regime of ‘The Specialist’ Mark Sloan, former FWA:Academy mainstay Rishi Ghosh! Ghosh, who recently returned to the scene on the south coast, will have his work cut out however as he takes on the undefeated Irish Giant, Eamon O’Neill!

» And in a singles grudge match two men who are no strangers to one another having faced off in tag team contests on IPW Orpington afternoon shows of late, fans will see the energetic and tough Wade Fitzgerald take on the mass of power and size that is ‘The Physical Specimen’ Joey Redman!

» Plus much more including ‘The Righteous’ Paul Travell, James Tighe, ‘The Human Dynamo’ Max Voltage, ‘The Specialist’ Mark Sloan and the impressive ‘Irresistible’ Iestyn Rees!
