Never Fear, Because The Showstealer, Is… BACK!
» As mentioned above, on October 26th ‘The Showstealer’ of British wrestling returns to in-ring action, as we see Stone vs. Shane in our co-main event.
Heated words (which can be found on the IPW videos page at http://www.ipwuk.com/multimedia/videos.php) between the pair have been exchanged, and the blood is at boiling point. Two times, Martin Stone has been IPW:UK Champion and two times Alex Shane has been the man who has cost him the top accolade in IPW:UK. Now, Stone wants to put an end to Shane in British wrestling once and for all.
To keep up to date on the developments, head to the Arun Leisure Centre in Bognor Regis on Sunday October 12th, as IPW:UK bring our TV Taping #2 back to the venue where last time out 400 screaming fans went wild. On that day, Alex Shane will make his first advertised appearance in a wrestling ring in 18 months. Tickets on sale now.
The Thrillers Take Over Title Gold In IPW:UK As Rees, Haskins and Redman All Take Titles From The Firm!
» Just one week after The Thrillers kicked off the IPW:UK 4th Anniversary tour in true style by capturing IPW:UK gold for Iestyn Rees, they then continued their hot streak by not only defending that gold up against former WWE star Al Snow, but also then taking the IPW:UK Tag Titles from The Kartel fair and square in what some are calling a bit of an upset, The Kartel’s first tag-team pinfall loss as a unit since returning to IPW:UK last February!
With that said and done, assuming that The Thrillers can hold onto their titles through Bognor and Portsmouth, on October 26th fans will see another special moment in IPW history as The Thrillers host a title gold party. Will Rees rise as a true champion and take a challenger, or will Haskins, Redman and Hype defend their newly recaptured tag belts?
The British National Championship Comes To It’s Gritty Conclusion!
» Four men are left from a starting field of over 50, ready to get to Orpington on October 26th and do true battle, with two matches in one night only the true strongest will survive as Terry Frazier, Zack Sabre Jr, Johnny Moss and Dan Head are left to fight until they can fight no more.
Last weekend, Johnny Moss pulled off somewhat of a shock victory, as the battle of the two undefeated heavyweights took place in Wolverhampton, and former All-England champion and tournament favourite Sam Slam was sent crashing out sensationally, losing his coveted All-England belt in the process. Now, Moss must overcome Dan Head in the semi finals, a man who has already defeated Joel Redman, Andy Boy Simmonz and Sha Samuels on his way to the semis.
In Semi Final number two w see the rising star of the year, a member of the Leaders of the New School, Zack Sabre Jr take on another shooting star of singles competition, a member of The Firm, Terry Frazier. Both men are looking to solidify themselves as true singles stars in the ranks of IPW:UK, and a spot in the final as well as the chance to become the All-England champion is exactly where one of these two men is heading!
In then in the second of our main events, we will see the winners of both of those semi-finals take on one another to crown the British National Champion and All-England title holder for 2008.
’Sadistic’ To The Bone!
» With doctors refusing to clear JC Thunder to return to in-ring action until further tests have been run, ‘Sadistic’ Jack Storm has thrown out a challenge to anybody in the IPW locker-room past or present for October 26th, citing that he wishes to continue to kill the people of Bromley’s IPW heroes.
With Thunder expected to be on hand to give fans a true incite into the nature of his current injuries, will IPW be able to keep the Thunder from the Storm, or will there be a natural disaster on October 26th?
And therefore the current card for IPW:UK’s “British National Finale” is:
