Martin Stone, Dave Moralez, Terry Frazier and Leroy Kincaide have spent the past several weeks vying for the right to be the number one contender to the UK’s most prestigious championship: the IPW:UK title, and on 28th June in Hertford – just one week before that contest reaches its conclusion – all four men will find themselves in the same ring for a mammoth main event tag match at Unfinished Business!
Having earned stunning victories in their respective semi finals of the Contenders’ Series, Terry Frazier and Leroy Kincaide are both aware that their showdown in the final may be the most fiercely contested match that either of them have ever wrestled. Can they put their rivalry to one side for the night and work as a team in Hertford, or will the temptation to feed their future opponent to the lions be too strong to resist? The same could be asked of their opponents: Stone and Moralez will be just seven days away from their own encounter when they charge into battle together at Unfinished Business – both want revenge on the men who knocked them out of the tournament, but both know that the only way to really get back into championship contention is by beating the other in their singles match a week later.
As if things were not already complicated enough, former champion Iestyn Rees (also scheduled to appear) is still entitled to a rematch for the title. The “irresistible” leader of the Thrillers will surely be paying close attention to the result of this intriguing tag team contest. So will current champion Alex Shane (who has been uncharacteristically quiet since winning the title under what Rees’ manager Gilligan Gordon would describe as dubious circumstances). And so, indeed, will wrestling fans up and down the country.
Therefore the current card looks as follows:
- Tag Team Attraction
'The Guvnor' Martin Stone & 'The Human Hate Machine' Dave Moralez vs Terry Fraizer & Leroy Kincaide
- Cruserweight Championship
Zack Sabre Jnr. Vs 'The Star Attraction' Mark Haskins ©
Marty Scurll Vs Joel Redman
Plus: Sky's Gladiator Nick 'Oblivion' Aldis & More!
