IPW:UK "CHRISTMAS CRACKER 2009", Saturday December 12th 2009!
» IPW:UK exploded back to Swanley on October 10th with a hard-hitting and fast-paced night of International Pro Wrestling action, and it's only going to get better when we return to the White Oak Leisure Centre on December 12th for our end of year spectacular - the Christmas Cracker!

'The Fitness' To Take On 'The Champ' In Our Main Event of the Evening!
» Ricky Hype walked into Swanley on October 10th without knowing his opponent for the evening, but after a night of sweat, hard work and a little splashing of his £10,000 prize winnings from primetime TV show 'Total Wipeout', Hype walked out definitely knowing his opponent for the CHRISTMAS CRACKER - he's in the main event fighting for the most prestigious Singles Title in the UK!
But it wasn't a simple route for Hype. Making his IPW:UK return since his national TV exposure, Hype flashed his cash and spent £1,000 on purchasing his main event spot from 'The Squire' Dave Taylor. With IPW:UK powerless to stop Taylor appointing Hype as his replacement for the bout, Hype literally launched himself right into the main event scene with the same agility and power that he showed to make him a winner on 'Total Wipeout'.
» His opponent is Leroy Kincaide. The Hip Hop superstar won top IPW:UK gold back in September at our 5th Anniversary show, but sustained an injury during that bout which has kept him out of action since then. Kincaide returns to action on November 22nd in a title defence against 'Vigilante' Johnny Moss, and should the champ walk out of Sittingbourne with the title, he'll have to make his second defence attempt at CHRISTMAS CRACKER!
Kincaide's history with Hype is very simple - and all occurred on October 10th. The Champ was out in the ring being officially presented with his newly won title in front of the Swanley crowd when Hype took to the ring and interrupted/ruined the ceremony on the microphone. A massive sign of disrespect, Kincaide will be looking not only to retain his title on December 12th but also teach the egotistical Hype a lesson in respect along the way!
Two Other Bouts Confirmed For The Christmas Cracker - Grudges From Make or Break To Be Settled!!
» Last time out at Make or Break, fans were treated to a plethora of unique stipulations attached to each bout of the evening. One of the stipulations, in the IPW:UK British Tag Title match between The Leaders (Scurll/Sabre, champions) and The Bhangra Knights (Singh/Amrah, challengers), was that the losers must kiss the feet of the winners. The Bhangra Knights did not however complete this stipulation to the satisfaction of The Leaders, as only Darrell Amrah kissed the feet of the Leaders, when RJ Singh pushed his young tag team partner forward and did a runner!
As a result, with his partner Sabre Jr. on international duty in Germany, Marty Scurll has requested a singles bout against Singh in order to make sure he really and truly gets introduced to the educated feet of one half of the IPW:UK British Tag Team Champions!
» Also on the Christmas Cracker fight card, fans will see the fiercely feared newcomer Snare take on Jimmy Havoc in a rematch from their Make or Break bout. This time however, as a result of Havoc's Make or Break stipulation, it will be No Disqualification, All Weapons Are Legal!
Last time out, no matter what he did, Snare couldn't get Jimmy Havoc to stay down for the pinfall or knockout victory. He resorted to use of a metal object to finally get the 'Suicidal' one flat on his back, but all that did was bring out the hardcore in Havoc and on December 12th metal, wood, plastic and every other type of object will be legal along with every other Weapon either Havoc or Snare can think of!
It's Christmas For The IPW:UK Roster In Our Festive Rumble!
» Every year IPW:UK host the most exciting Wrestling Rumble Match of the year at Battle Royale - but this year was an unfortunate exception! Scheduling has changed, and the Battle Royale event will take place in early 2010 in Sittingbourne. So, as a result, and as a present to both the fans and wrestlers of IPW:UK, on December 12th our semi-main event will be - the Christmas Rumble!
The winner of the bout, which will serve as a good tune-up and good practise for some of the newer members of the IPW:UK roster in time for Battle Royale 2010, will go on to main event the first Swanley fight card of 2010, likely in February or March, against the winner of December 12th's main event for the IPW:UK Undisputed Title!
» With such a great prize at stake, the first person to be signed up for entry in the Christmas Rumble is none other than Gilligan Gordon's Thriller, 'The Physical Specimen' Joel Redman!
In Other News:
» Many of the IPW:UK stars from Make or Break were sharing locker-rooms for the first time, as we saw the Swanley debuts of some top upcoming talents, from both the IPW:UK Training School and elsewhere around the country. Two wrestlers who became good friends were the debuting PJ Jones and the returning Paul Robinson. The pair will team up for the first time on December 12th at Christmas Cracker as 'The Daredevils' against as yet unknown opponents.
» Last time out at Make or Break, 'The Wonderkid' Jonny Storm wowed the crowd with a singles victory over the British National Championship Tournament winner 'The Mean Machine' Terry Frazier, but in his second bout of the evening fatigue set in and he couldn't overcome 'The Star Attraction' Mark Haskins for Cruiserweight Gold. Storm has asked IPW:UK for a rematch with Haskins on an evening where he doesn't have to fight twice - but with Mark Haskins on international duty with Zack Sabre Jr and The British Eagle amongst others in Germany that evening, Storm must wait - for now!
