If you don't believe that being a referee in professional wrestling is one of the most thankless jobs in the world, just ask Chris Hatch. As the only person to have refereed in IPW for the entire time since its birth, Hatch feels entitled to be applauded for his loyal service but instead he seems to be jeered across the country whenever he makes his way to the ring. Despite his insistence that he always does his best to ensure justice is done, many fans associate Hatch with controversial decisions that have robbed their favourites of victory in important matches. But whatever the reaction of the crowd, this resilient young official comes back night after night and gets on with the job - in his view, it's far less important to be popular than it is to be right.
