Danny Garnell Biography
Trained at the notorious Hammerlock school of wrestling under the guidance of Andre' Baker, Justin Richards and Jon Ryan, ‘Dangerous’ Danny Garnell made his professional debut in 1999 aged just 15.
12 Years later Garnell has travelled extensively around Europe plying his craft against some of the best wrestlers in the world, winning championships wherever he went. However despite all the gold and all the accolades that Garnell had received elsewhere, there was one place he wanted his star to shine. That one place? IPW:UK.
Feeling overlooked and underappreciated Garnell decided to take actions into his own hands. Singling out the IPW:UK flag bearer ‘The Guvnor’ Martin Stone with a viscous assault, making his life hell for the following 12 months and impressing fans and wrestling insiders with his ability to go hold for hold, toe to toe with the longest reigning IPW champion in history.
Throughout the year Garnell also proved his toughness in becoming the hardcore rumble & harcore lottery winners at some of IPW:UK’s over 18 presentations.
You can say what you like about Danny Garnell but the fact remains that he went a full calendar year without getting shoulders pinned to the mat and in fact to this day only has two pinfall losses to his name giving him one of the most impressive records in IPW history.
