"The streak... starts here."

That's what you'll hear, bellowing from the mouth of the number one fan favourite in possibly all of England—the man named J.C. Thunder.

Having come into IPW:UK at the First Anniversary show in 2005 with a special singles opportunity against the American star "Jake", but fell under the pressure. His streak hadn't started—ours had.

Now going into 2006, Thunder was 0 for 2, no wins, TWO losses. After trying to adapt himself and "out-KICK" the lightning-fast Paul Robinson, he then failed hardcore style vs. Battalion. February brought a loss in a powerhouse contest against Andy Boy Simmonz, and in March he couldn't out vampire, Vampiro. After a month off in April, fan demand brought him back in May to lose in a technical contest against Doug Williams, before then losing in a Lucha match against El Ligero.

By the time Omer Ibrahim had beaten him in July 2006, Thunder was 0 for 8. A loss at Final Frontiers took him to 0 for 9, but even worse was the knee injury he suffered that evening at the hands of The Hated Heroes.

On the trial to recovery, Thunder brought us first "M.C. Style" and then later "Manager style" with new pal Blok Busta, before making his (unsuccessful) return to the ring in January 2007. Although unsuccessful that evening, Thunder was back and better than ever, and after losing in tag team style in February was 0 for 11.

However...

On April 22, 2007, J.C. Thunder found himself in the Battle Royale match in a 3-on-1 situation, as all three of The Hated Heroes were triple-teaming him. Having taken a second to pose and celebrate, The Hated Heroes were volnerable to attack—and Thunder did just that, dumping Andy Boy Simmonz out of the Battle Royale, and earning a shot against the titleholder on May 20 at Royale Rewards!

When the big day came, not many people in the Orpington Halls gave Thunder, with the worst win/loss record in IPW:UK, any chance. But because of the fans support, Thunder rose above all the interference, all the cheating and battled through, landing Simmonz for the one-two-three and capturing the title!

"And now, the streak will... go on!"
