For years Jon Ryan was an exclusive product of NWA Hammerlock, but in recent years the "Bad Boy of British Wrestling" has been unleashed on the rest of the country, not least on IPW:UK where he has made a significant impact. Undefeated for several months after he first entered the company, Ryan soon found himself engaged in a ferocious feud with Sam Slam over the All-England Title that included a memorable TLC match and a sick no-holds-barred brawl. In 2008 he spent several months fighting Dave Moralez - a feud that regularly spilled into the crowd and even the backstage area.

Despite having main evented for various promotions around the world, Ryan had never met anyone quite like Jules Lambrini before. The flamboyant young star showed up to offer an ungrateful Ryan his support during his feud with Moralez, but despite early hostility the Bad Boy surprisingly made the save when Lambrini was attacked by Jack Storm during the 2008 Brawl at the Hall. Whether this odd couple will maintain their apparent alliance into 2009 remains uncertain, but one thing is for sure: Jon Ryan will continue to strike fear into not only fellow wrestlers, but crowd members too.
