One of the most agile, talented, and well-known British wrestlers, Jonny Storm (a.k.a. "The Wonderkid") commands instant respect and fear from any opponent.
Coming in at the debut show, and progressing from the first round, through the semi-finals to the main event of the show, Storm then went a grueling 35 minutes with Super Dragon before eventually succombing 3 falls to 2 in an Iron Man-rules "Iron Fist" match.

Storm then came in as second runner-up in the Best of British: High Flyers contest, before suffering his third major loss in IPW when he and Jody Fleisch suffered at the hands of the Chav Army in the IPW:UK Tag Team Title tournament.

Everything was forgiven though, when Jonny Storm overcame the odds and ended the near-two year reign that "New Superstar" Stevie Douglas had on the wXw Light Heavyweight Championship, pinning his opponent with a second-rope Wonderwhirl to an amazing standing ovation reaction from the crowd.

Storm turned everybody's world upside-down however on September 25, 2005-one year to the day that he made his IPW:UK debut-by turning on his long-term friend and partner "The Phoenix" Jody Fleisch. Fleisch fought for months to get Storm in one-on-one competition, and eventually on March 19, 2006 he got him where he wanted him: shoulders to the canvas for the one-two-three.

Having drifted around IPW:UK cards for several months, Storm aligned himself back with the FWA, where he had once been British Champion, but was missing on the day that company died in March 2007. This sparked rumours that he may have regretted his decision. Those rumours proved true as within a month he was back in IPW:UK and slowly started re-gaining the trust of the fans.

In late 2007 Storm was the first man through to the second round of the British National Championship, a tournament in which he was considered to be one of the favourites. He eventually made it as far as the quarter finals, where he was pinned by Zack Sabre Jr after a low blow. But by now he was firmly a fan favourite once again, and will soon be back in IPW:UK to challenge for the championship glory that has eluded him so far.
