Arguably the best high-fliers currently on the UK scene, the team of Maximum Head is made up of Max Voltage and Dan Head - two best friends who trained together under the Specialist Mark Sloan at the legendary FWA Academy in Portsmouth. Consistently putting their bodies on the line with insane daredevil manoeuvres, Voltage and Head receive rapturous receptions at venues up and down the country.

Despite big upsets in the past couple of years against teams such as the Hated Heroes and the Untouchables, opportunities to compete for the tag team championships have been few and far between for Maximum Head during their time in IPW:UK. Both Voltage and Head have made a habit of winning against the odds in singles competition too - over the course of 2008, Dan Head reached the semi finals of the British National Championships following unlikely wins against Joel Redman, Sha Samuels and then-IPW:UK champion Andy Boy Simmonz. At the British National Finale in October, Head showed amazing resilience in his semi final clash with Johnny Moss but came up just short of a memorable win.

Having refocused their energies on team competition, could 2009 see this gravity-defying duo defy the odds again and reach the top of the tag mountain?
