It seems that 22nd September will be a day we look back on as the beginning of the new era of IPW:UK

On that day IPW:UK will host their first show at Westgate Hall, Canterbury as the stars of both IPW:UK & Fight! Nation will compete at the show branded 'INCEPTION'.

It can be argued that with such a merger the talent pool in IPW:UK gets bigger, better and a lot more competitive. IPW:UK will be welcoming both current champions of Fight! Nation, The British Champion 'Smashmouth' Chris Ridgeway who with his Souls of Smashmouth running buddies James Castle & IPW:UK regular Sammy Smooth have dominated the main event scene since the turn of the year when he dethroned current WWE UK superstar Mark Andrews for the gold. The question is will Ridgeway be bringing the SOS with him to IPW:UK or how will he fair on his own? Current Z-Force Champion 'Filthy' Rob Sharpe is some what of a sensation in Fight! Nation. Over the last 12 months the fans have warmed to his filthy ways, winning the Z-Force Championship the last time Fight! Nation was live in Canterbury by winning a 6 man gauntlet match finally defeating Keith Lee & Kip Sabian. Sharp'E' is also the founding father of the 'Filthy Club' adding such characters as Joey Ryan & Juventuud Guerrera to the group on his quest to make the world 'Filthy Gorgeous'.

Another man prominent in both promotions and will be keen to continue his rise is 'Savvy' Sid Scala. The ever popular trader has been sneaking wins, fighting smart and being savvy on both shows but as of late miscommunication in the battle with the Souls of Smashmouth have the fans worried problems may brew between Sid & Lewis Howley. This Wednesday on FITE you can watch the next Episode of 'Fight! on FITE' as Sid & Lewis do take on the SOS for the final time in tag team action. Sid goes into SUPERSHOW 11 challenging Earl Black Jr for the All-England Championship, is it time Scala had gold around his waist as we go into this new era?

New owner Billy Wood commented 'IPW:UK will only get stronger from the injection of Fight! Nation, the depth of roster will make things more competitive and a competitive environment will see the true stars rise and the pretenders disappear.'

The interesting thing is current IPW:UK World Champion Jimmy Havoc isn't looking to play ball. With meetings arranged with new management refused what does the future hold for Jimmy Havoc? The dominant champion has done everything to keep hold of his championship and we cannot see him letting go anytime soon.
