Ricky Hype biography

Having debuted in as one half of The Welsh Assembley in June 2007, Ricky Hype soon ditched his old tag partner and joined up as one of the original Thrillers alongside Joel Redman and Mark Haskins.
When Gilligan Gordon took over The Thrillers and brought in 'Irreissible' Iestyn Rees, Hype often found himself ensuring that Rees held onto the IPW:UK Title, or as one half of the tag team champions defending his own title.  Hype spent most of his time whilst The Thrillers were on top and running IPW feuding with The Firm foursome of Stone, Samuels, Frazier and Kincaide.
When the wheels came off for Gilligan Gordon's Thrillers, Hype stuck by his boss and his stablemates all individually and in 2009 Hype finally blossomed fully into a main event singles star.  Having won BBC's Total Wipeout, Hype headlined two shows against Leroy Kincaide for the IPW:UK Title, but unfortunately came up short and hasn't been seen in IPW:UK since.
In 2012, Hype entered BBC's "The Apprentice" and defeated 15 other competitors to 'wow' Sir Alan Sugar and earn himself title of 2012 Apprentice Winner.  The Hype announced his retirement from pro wrestling, but once a wrestler always a wrestler...
